물이 사라진 뒤에도 남아 있는 것들

최근 나는 물 자체보다 물이 남긴 흔적에 관심을 갖게 되었다.

물영아리의 머무는 물, 예당호에 잠긴 버드나무, 복개된 하천 아래 숨겨진 물길, 그리고 삼부연폭포가 남긴 침식의 흔적을 바라보며 물은 사라진 뒤에도 환경 안에 다양한 형태로 남아 있다는 생각을 하게 되었다.

이 연구는 물이 환경 안에 시간을 어떻게 저장하는지에 대한 관찰 기록이다.

What Remains After Water Is Gone

Recently, my attention has shifted from water itself to the traces it leaves behind.

Observing the still waters of Mulyeongari, the willow trees submerged in Yedang Lake, hidden waterways beneath covered streams, and the erosional traces left by Sambuyeon Falls, I began to think that water continues to exist within the environment in many forms, even after it has disappeared from view.

This research is a record of observations exploring how water stores time within the environment.
